The Hallmark weekend schedule will also include four new Christmas movies. First up is In Merry Measure, starring Brendan Penny of Hallmark’s Chesapeake Shores as well as Patti Murin and Jennifer Robertson.

In the movie, Murin plays pop star Darcy, who returns to her small hometown for Christmas. When she finds out her niece didn’t make the high-school caroling team Darcy used to sing in, she becomes determined to change the director’s mind. The only problem is the director is her former rival Adam (Brendan Penny). Darcy helps her niece form a new caroling group to compete against Adam’s team in an upcoming competition. But as feelings between the two directors develop, they need to decide whether it would be better to bring the groups together and enter as one team in the competition.
