The new Hallmark movie Wedding of a Lifetime will premiere as part of the Fall Into Love lineup. Jonathan Bennett and Brooke D’Orsay star in the film, playing an engaged couple whose friends sign them up for a reality TV competition.
Bennett, who starred in Hallmark’s The Christmas House and The Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls, shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes video on Instagram as a preview.
After shooting this scene, our executive Liz from @hallmarkchannel called me and asked, ‘Is that the most fun you’ve ever had on a set?’ To which I responded, ‘Yes, it was!’ I also destroyed @brookedorsay no matter what she tries to tell you.”

New Hallmark movie
In Wedding of a Lifetime, Bennett and D’Orsay star as Jake and Darby, an engaged couple who have been together since high school. When they find themselves in a rut and not in love anymore, they decide it might be time to give their relationship a break. But when they try to explain the situation to their families, they find out the town has entered them in a TV competition for an all-expenses-paid “Wedding of a Lifetime.”
According to a synopsis from Hallmark, “Neither of them wants to disappoint their family and friends, and being on the show could potentially give both their careers a boost. Will the charade end with Darby and Jake coming clean and going their separate ways, or will the competition rekindle their romance?”
In a recent interview, Bennett talked about the fun he had as an executive producer on the film.
“Getting to see my crazy ideas come to life on the screen, and actually come to fruition was so rewarding. I love executive producing now, it gives me the chance to let my crazy ideas come to the screen,” he said.
Bennett added, “I hope this movie helps the fans ignite a spark in their relationships whether they be new or old.”
