The Hallmark Channel movie Love, Classified stars Melora Hardin from The Office

The Hallmark Channel movie Love, Classified will premiere as part of the network’s Spring Into Love event. Starring actress Melora Hardin, the film follows the lives of people who are connected by a dating app.

A synopsis from the network breaks down the plot as follows:

“Romance novelist Emilia (Hardin) is a whirlwind who blows back into the lives of her adult children, Taylor (Katherine McNamara) and Zach (Max Lloyd-Jones), under the pretense of a book signing arranged by her hometown’s local book shop. As Emilia tries to reconnect, Taylor and Zach explore new and past relationships through an app that boasts old-fashioned human connection by way of the classified ad. Zach is given a chance to heal old wounds while Taylor matches with Franki (Arienne Mandi), a woman that changes the way she’s always thought about love.”

Hardin teased the premiere in a post on Instagram.

“Can’t wait for everyone to see this! “ she wrote.

About the movie

Pennsylvania native Lynn Sternberger wrote the screenplay for Love, Classified. In an interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Sternberger said she was surprised when Hallmark expressed interest in the project.

“I was pretty sure it wouldn’t get made pretty much from the day I sold it,” Sternberger told the Post-Gazette. “Thankfully, my executives didn’t feel that way. Internally, they were amazing shepherds of it. Mad props to them.”
