Good Witch fans show James Denton some love on his birthday
Fans of the series of Good Witch laid on the love for star James Denton, who celebrated his birthday on Thursday. In posts on Instagram and Twitter, fans wished the actor well and said they hope to see him again in his role as Dr. Sam Radford.
“Happy birthday to our #JamesDenton,” wrote one fan.
“Missing them so much!” wrote another, who also shared a photo collage.
Denton played Dr. Sam Radford on the Hallmark series Good Witch from 2015-2021. He also had lead roles in Desperate Housewives, JAG, and The Drew Carey Show.
Hallmark canceled Good Witch in July 2021. In a statement to Deadline, Denton said, “It would be unseemly to complain about your show being canceled after seven seasons, and I won’t. I’ve been very fortunate to have been on other long-running series, but Good Witch was special.”
