Venus Williams (the one and only!) was the executive producer for the new Hallmark movie Game, Set, Love. The romantic comedy stars Davida Williams and Richard Harmon as tennis players thrown together as doubles partners despite having wildly different personalities.
Davida Williams posted a photo on Instagram from the last day of filming:
“Last day in Vancouver,” she wrote. “I’m so grateful for this experience and to everyone i met and worked with. I’m walking away with lots of new friends!”

Not only did Venus Williams serve as an executive producer on the movie, she also provided clothing from her fashion line, EleVen, for the actors to wear.
In the movie, Davida Williams plays Taylor, a former professional tennis player who retired when her mother passed away so she could spend more time with her father (played by Roger Cross). She is teaching children at the local tennis club when a friend approaches her to see if she could coach her new doubles partner, Will (played by Richard Harmon).
Will’s reputation has taken a hit thanks to his hotheaded antics on the court, and he needs to learn how to play without letting his temper get the best of him. According to a synopsis from Hallmark, “Taylor reluctantly agrees and though she and Will clash at first, she’s surprised to discover a different side to him. Even more surprising is when Taylor finds herself entering the doubles tournament with Will after Ashley is sidelined by an injury. As Taylor and Will spend more time together while they get ready to compete, the pair learns they just may be a perfect match in more ways than one.”
