Vic Michaelis gets stuck reliving the same night over and over in the new Hallmark Hanukkah movie Round and Round. The film, which will premiere as part of Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas lineup, also stars Bryan Greenberg and Rick Hoffman.

New Hallmark movie

In Round and Round, Vic Michaelis stars as literary editor Rachel. On the seventh night of Hanukkah, her parents throw a party celebrating both the holiday and the night they met. When her boyfriend tells her he can’t attend, her grandmother decides to play matchmaker. She introduces Rachel to Zach (Greenberg), a nerdy art instructor, who’s decidedly not her type.

It turns out the two have already met. Earlier in the day, he crashed into her at the train station, spilling the box of sufganiyot she was taking to the party.

When the party ends, Rachel returns home and heads to bed only to wake up the next morning and find out it is the day of her parents’ party again. She continues to repeat the same day over and over and finally confides in Zach, who continues to run into her every morning.

“With help from the employees of Zach’s beloved local comic bookstore, Rachel and Zach make an unlikely, mismatched pair of detectives as they solve mysteries nestled throughout the story,” reads a synopsis from Hallmark Channel.

About the cast

Vic Michaelis starred in the TV series Speechless, Kingpin Katie, Upload, and Bless This Mess. Round and Round is her first Hallmark Channel movie.

Bryan Greenberg played Jake Jaglieski in the TV series One Tree Hill. He also had roles in the TV shows The Mindy Project, How To Make It In America, Woman In The Book, and Sideswiped. He has appeared in the movies Bride Wars, Friends With Benefits, and Same Time, Next Christmas.

Round and Round will premiere on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, December 10 at 8/7c.
