The new Hallmark Christmas movie Where Are You, Christmas? features an interesting plot twist. In the film, Christmas has ceased to exist and it is up to one woman (played by Lyndsy Fonseca) to save it.
Where Are You, Christmas? is the second movie to premiere in Hallmark’s 2023 Countdown to Christmas lineup.
New Hallmark Christmas movie
In the film, Fonseca plays Addy, a marketing executive who has returned to her hometown to spend the holidays with her family. She barely arrives home before she begins to regret her decision. Her parents, played by Julie Warner and Jim O’Heir, keep questioning her about her life decisions and want her to get involved in the town’s many over-the-top Christmas traditions.
Frustrated, Addy wishes that Christmas didn’t exist. When her car veers off the road and she blacks out, she wakes up in a black-and-white world where no one has even heard of Christmas.
The town’s mechanic (played by Michael Rady) helps her with her car and Addy stirs up a memory of Christmas within him. He is returned to full color, while Addy and everyone else remain in black-and-white.
The two then work together to return the rest of the town to color and restore the memory of Christmas.
