In A World Record Christmas, Aias Dalman plays Charlie, a boy determined to set a Guinness World Record by stacking 1,400 Jenga blocks. His mother, Marissa (Nikki DeLoach), and stepfather, Eric (Lucas Bryant), encourage him to reach for his dream and they all celebrate when he gets the good news that he’ll get his chance on Christmas Eve.

As Charlie prepares for his record attempt by practicing his Jenga-stacking skills, he gets the idea to organize a fundraiser that gives the townspeople an opportunity to donate and decorate a Jenga block, with the proceeds going to benefit kids with autism.

His mother, Kelly Murray, told a Canadian newspaper that she tries to support her son whenever he sets out to break a record.

“If he just all of a sudden says, ‘OK, I’m going to stack’… and it’s usually just a few times a year, I’ll just stop what I’m doing and I’ll stay up with him until late at night,” said Murray. “I’ll just get my camera out and film him just for fun. …This is a skill that he has that he can just do anytime. He doesn’t practice; he just does it. It’s like a gift. He just has this amazing stacking ability.”
