Hallmark will premiere five new movies in March. Network veterans Tyler Hynes, Kimberly Sustad, and Paul Campbell will headline the movies, which include three rom-coms and two mysteries.
“Couldn’t be more excited for this,” wrote Paul Campbell in an Instagram post promoting his new movie for Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. “HUGE thank you to @hallmarkchannel and @hallmarkmovie for trusting me with this one. We’re cooking up something pretty extraordinary. Can’t wait for you to meet the Cases. @aimeegarcia4realz.”
Five new movies
First up is Game of Love. Kimberly Sustad and Brooks Darnell star as a board game designer and a marketing executive tasked with creating a new game to help people find love. Their different approaches make working together difficult, but they soon find they have a connection.
Next up is Winning Team, starring Nadia Hatta and Kristoffer Polaha. Hatta plays a former professional soccer player who teams up with a laid-back, small-town coach to lead her niece’s team to victory.
Tyler Hynes and Rhiannon Fish will star in Picture of Her. Fish plays a woman who unwittingly becomes the subject of an award-winning magazine’s cover and goes on a quest to uncover the true identity of the mystery photographer who snapped her photo.
New mysteries
On Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, two new movies will premiere. In Unexpected Grace, Erica Durance plays a woman who is new to a small town and finds a note from a schoolgirl looking for a friend. Their friendship sets off a chain of events that changes both their lives. Unexpected Grace will also star Michael Rady and Erica Tremblay.
Finally, Paul Campbell and Aimee Garcia will star in The Cases of Mystery Lane. Garcia plays Birdie, a bright, successful attorney. Her husband, Alden (Campbell), is smart and charming, but his inability to settle on a career is causing difficulty in their marriage.
When Alden goes behind his wife’s back to take classes in hopes of becoming a private investigator, a homework assignment entangles him in a murder investigation. Birdie just may hold the keys to solving the mystery, but Alden will have to come clean to find out.
