Romance in Scotland
In A Scottish Love Scheme, Durance stars as Lily, who is preparing to accompany her mother, Cait (Jo Cameron Brown), on her annual trip to visit her hometown in Scotland. Lily thinks her mother may be trying to get her mind off her recent divorce since she is making the trip earlier than usual.
When they arrive in Scotland, Cait reunites with her childhood friend Mairi (played by Juliet Cadzow) and Lily reunites with Mairi’s son Logan. Cait and Mairi decide to set their children up romantically. Things seem to be going well until Cait feels faint and Lily discovers her mother has cancer, a diagnosis she has been hiding.
Lily and Logan come up with their own scheme. They arrange a scavenger hunt for their mothers to give them a final memory together.
