Three new Hallmark movies are coming to TV in May, including films starring Brendan Penny, Cindy Busby, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and Stephen Huszar.

“I am so looking forward to this airing,” Brendan Penny said in an Instagram post promoting his new movie, Family Practice Mysteries: Coming Home. “Possibly my best movie with the amazing @hallmarkmystery. Make sure to watch!”

New Hallmark movies

First up in May will A Whitewater Romance, starring Cindy Busby and Ben Hollingsworth. In the movie, Cindy Busby plays Maya, who is sent on an executive business retreat by her employer. She is paired up with a handsome stranger (played by Ben Hollingsworth) and sparks fly.

Brendan Penny mystery

Brendan Penny will headline the new movie Family Practice Mysteries: Coming Home. In the mystery, actress Amanda Schull plays Dr. Rachel Hunt,  a former Army surgeon. After losing her husband in combat she moves back to her small hometown with her teenage twins, Chloe (played by Isla Crera) and Matthew (played by Jett Klyne), to work at a small clinic.

When one of her patients dies, Dr. Hunt becomes suspicious. Her attempts to involve the authorities are met with resistance by charming police detective Jack Quinn (Brendan Penny), who is not convinced that a murder took place.

Dr. Hunt puts her background in forensics to work and calls in favors from people in the community to figure out what happened to her patient. She is so successful that Detective Quinn joins forces with her to catch the killer.

Stephen Huszar

Chesapeake Shores actor Stephen Huszar will co-star with Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes in the new Hallmark romance Everything Puppies. Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes plays an entrepreneur trying to market dog toys and treats. She gets help from a wealthy — and handsome — client, played by Stephen Huszar.
