Six new Hallmark movies are coming to TV in October

Six new Hallmark movies are coming to TV in October. They include romantic comedies, dramas, and a mystery. The movies will star Hallmark favorites such as Tamera Mowry-Housley, James Denton, Sherri Saum, Teri Hatcher, Aimee Teagarden, and Taylor Cole.

Six new Hallmark movies

First up is Girlfriendship starring Tamera Mowry-Housley, Lyndie Greenwood, Krystal Joy Brown, and Brad James. According to a synopsis from the network, “After a booking mix-up, Samara’s (Mowry-Housley) birthday getaway turns into a week-long retreat on Edisto Island, where she and her two best friends (Greenwood, Brown) rediscover their passions, their purpose and romance.”

Next is a new mystery called Nikki & Nora: Super Sleuths. Hunter King and Rhiannon Fish play fraternal twins who inherit a detective agency. As they solve a murder, they realize their differences may be their greatest advantage.

Taylor Cole will star in the hilariously-named Pumpkin Everything. In the movie, Cole plays a novelist who must return to her hometown and help her grandfather run his pumpkin-themed store. She ends up reconnecting with her former boyfriend, played by Corey Sevier.

In Mid-Love Crisis, Teri Hatcher plays Mindy, a divorced teacher about to turn 50. Her daughter comes for a weekend visit with her girlfriend, who happens to be the niece of Mindy’s former boyfriend Sam (played by James Tupper). Things become even more complicated when her daughter invites Mindy’s ex-husband, played by Brian Markinson, to the festivities.

Next up is Autumn in the City, starring Aimee Teagarden and Evan Roderick. Teagarden plays Piper, who moves to New York for a fresh start and to find her career passion. As she bounces between different exciting temp jobs that take her all over the city, she meets Austin Edwards (Roderick), an aspiring writer. While Piper’s sunny optimism is at odds with Austin’s jaded personality, the magic of the autumn season soon brings them together. When Piper realizes her true passion is illustration, the two decide to team up on a children’s book project.

Last up is In Perfect Harmony. James Denton and Sherri Saum play the best man and maid of honor in a wedding between their mutual friends Naomi (Julia Benson) and Simon (Peter Benson). Despite having wildly different personalities, Denton and Saum agree to set aside their differences to help make the wedding perfect. At the engagement party, an impromptu duet between Barrett and Jack begins to thaw the frost between them, and they realize they may be more in tune than either of them would have imagined.
