Eleven new Hallmark movies — including rom-coms, mysteries, and Christmas films — are coming to television in October.

With Countdown to Christmas kicking off on Hallmark Channel and Miracles of Christmas starting on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, fans of heartfelt, romantic, and uplifting TV will be spoiled for choice all month.

In addition to the Christmas movies, a new Hannah Swensen will premiere, as will a new Curious Caterer mystery.

New Hallmark movies

First up is A Zest For Death: A Hannah Swensen Mystery.

In the film, Hannah’s mother (played by Barbara Niven) and her sister (played by Tess Atkins) discover a dead body while house-hunting. Hannah becomes determined to figure out who the killer is, especially when the police take the wrong suspect into custody.

Cameron Mathison will also star in the movie as Hannah’s ex-fiance, Mike Kingston. (Yeah, we’re still not over their breakup either.)

3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost

Real-life couple Julie Gonzalo and Chris McNally will star in this movie, which also features Madeleine Arthur. Gonzalo stars as Anna, who just got her first listing as a real estate agent. The only problem is that there’s a ghost in the house and the ghost (played by Madeleine Arthur) decides she won’t leave until she helps Anna get back together with her ex (played by Chris McNally).

Field Day

In Field Day, Rachel Boston, Shannon Chan-Kent, and Carmel Amit star as three very different moms who are thrown together when they volunteer to plan the school field day. Benjamin Ayres plays a PE teacher who helps them.

Checkin’ It Twice

A journeyman hockey player (Kevin McGarry) falls for a real estate agent (Kim Matula) in a career crisis when he’s traded to her hometown and moves into the cottage in her hockey-loving family’s backyard.

Where Are You, Christmas?

When Addy (Lyndsy Fonseca) wishes for a year without Christmas, she wakes up in a world of black and white. She must work together with the town mechanic (Michael Rady) to restore Christmas.

Under the Christmas Sky

Jessica Parker Kennedy stars as Kat, an esteemed astrophysicist scheduled for her first trip into space until an accident grounds her.

While on leave, coming to terms with the reality that her dream of being an astronaut is over, she volunteers at the local planetarium. There, she is paired up with David (Ryan Paevey) to work on an exhibit opening right before Christmas. Will the stars align to bring these two together at the holidays?
