In the new Hallmark mystery, Amanda Schull plays Dr. Rachel Hunt, a former Army surgeon. After losing her husband in combat she moves back to her small hometown with her teenage twins, Chloe (played by Isla Crera) and Matthew (played by Jett Klyne), to work at a small clinic.
When one of her patients dies, Dr. Hunt becomes suspicious. Her attempts to involve the authorities are met with resistance by a charming police detective named Jack Quinn (played by Brendan Penny), who is not convinced that a murder took place.
