In A Costa Rican Wedding, Rhiannon Fish stars as Emily, the maid of honor at a destination wedding. Still reeling from a painful breakup, Emily is determined to make her bride’s day perfect and prove to everyone who says she is too clumsy and forgetful that she can do a good job.
Everything is going well until some playful monkeys steal Emily’s bag. Emily panics because the bag contains — among other things — the priceless heirloom wedding rings she was holding onto for the bride and groom.
Determined to get the rings back before the bride can find out, Emily turns to the best man, Ryan (played by Christopher Russell). Their quest to find the rings takes them through volcanoes and archaeological sites and sparks fly. Emily and Ryan have always been rivals but as they work together to find the rings, they realize they have more in common than they thought.
