In Christmas With a Kiss, Mishael Morgan plays Mona, a social media ambassador who hasn’t always been lucky in love. Eleven days before Christmas, she returns to her family’s farm in upstate New York to help her parents (played by Rachael Crawford and Rothaford Gray) with preparations for the Christmas carnival her great-grandfather founded. According to family legend, if you kiss your date under the mistletoe on the closing night dance you will be forever together.
While back home, Mona runs into her former flame Fletcher (played by Jamie M. Callica) and feels old sparks rekindling. She has a much cooler encounter with Dez (Rowe), a reporter doing a story on the carnival for a prominent online magazine.
Mona finds herself in the position of having two suitors vying for attention and has to decide which one to kiss under the mistletoe.
Mishael Morgan has starred in The Young and the Restless since 2013. She also appeared on the TV shows The Best Years and Family Biz and has had roles on Chicago Med, Supernatural, Most Dangerous Game, and Republic of Doyle.
Hallmark launched the Mahogany series of movies in 2021. The films are based on Hallmark’s line of cards, gifts, and home decor marketed toward African-American consumers. Other movies in the series include Unthinkably Good Things (2022), Girlfriendship (2022), and Spring Breakthrough (2023)
Christmas With a Kiss will premiere on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, December 3 at 8/7c.
