The new Hallmark movie Come Fly With Me will premiere this weekend on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. The film stars Niall Matter and Heather Hemmens and was filmed in cooperation with the United States Air Force.
On the network’s Facebook page, fans were enthusiastic about the new film.
“Can’t wait for this movie,” wrote one fan. “I love both actors. And the Thunderbirds, are you kidding? This should be fabulous!!!”

Come Fly With Me was filmed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. The movie features flight footage courtesy of the Department of the Air Force featuring the Thunderbirds, the air demonstration squad that showcases the capabilities of Air Force pilots.
In the movie, Heather Hemmens stars as Capt. Emma Fitzgerald, an Air Force pilot who has been transferred to Nellis Air Force Base to begin a two-year assignment on the famed Thunderbirds team.
Her 11-year-old daughter, Lucy (played by Pietra Castro), is befriended by another little girl, Alice (played by Georgia Acken), whose civilian father Paul (Matter), a widower, is raising her on his own.
Alice is in awe of Emma as she dreams of becoming a pilot someday. The girls decide to try to get their parents together.

Emma and Paul are drawn to each other and a spark develops, but Emma is overwhelmed by the demands of her Thunderbirds training and tells him she needs to focus on her flying. But when Alice’s health suddenly worsens, the thing keeping Emma and Paul apart could be what ultimately brings them all together.
