Lacey Chabert will host and produce a new unscripted TV show for Hallmark Media. Celebrations With Lacey Chabert will follow the actress as she helps deserving kids, families and adults, who are making a positive impact in their communities by throwing them the celebration of a lifetime.
“As a lifelong DIY enthusiast, I fell in love with party planning while coming up with creative ways to bring my daughter’s birthday parties to life,” said Chabert in a statement through the company. “I am so excited to lend my love of crafts to create joyous moments for deserving people. This is going to be an epic party as we celebrate real-life heroes, complete with the ups and downs that only unscripted television can capture.”
Lacey Chabert
Lacey Chabert is a Hallmark Media staple, having appeared in 38 movies for the network. The Mean Girls star is also active in charity, working with the non-profits the American Humane Association, Starkey Hearing Foundation, Opportunity Village, and Race to Erase MS.
“Lacey Chabert shares the same passion for celebrating everyday heroes as we do at Hallmark,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, executive vice president of programming at Hallmark Media. “Lacey’s natural warmth and genuine nature make her a perfect fit for this series that is sure to leave our Hallmark audience feeling uplifted as they experience these heartwarming stories and spectacular events. This show provides the perfect opportunity to expand our work with Lacey in meaningful and innovative new ways.”
In Celebrations With Lacey Chabert, the actress will have three days to plan a party to give back to kids, families, and special adults who are making an extraordinary impact on their communities. According to Hallmark, “With the help of professional party planners, loving family members and a team of volunteers, Chabert will have just three days to plan and execute a mind-blowing, one-of-a-kind event that will create lasting memories for each worthy guest of honor and their families.”
Hallmark show
Chabert’s series will be the third Hallmark Media show to premiere in recent years. In 2023 it launched two new shows: The Way Home, starring Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh, and Ride, starring Nancy Travis. Though The Way Home was renewed for a second season — it will premiere in January 2024 — Ride was canceled.
Where to watch
Hallmark has not yet given a premiere date for the series. The company indicated that the show, which will debut sometime in 2024, will be available through Hallmark Media’s subscription service.
