“I hope you’ll check out Hallmark’s new TV series called RIDE,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “…I have a recurring role on this show playing a different character than you’re used to seeing me play on this network.”

“We’ll be back in North America for work (Hallmark has my number) and to visit friends and family regularly,” he wrote.

Hallmark’s new series premiered on March 26. Starring Nancy Travis, Beau Mirchoff, Jake Foy, and Tiera Skovbye, the show follows a rodeo family trying to hold onto its Colorado ranch.

Matriarch Isabel is ready to sell to the Booker family, though she faces resistance from her sons. They begin to warm to the idea after meeting Gus Booker (played by Tyler Jacob Moore), Daniel’s son. But when Daniel shows up, his curt manner catches them off guard.
